She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, OCD, and mood disorders. Carolyn received her B.S. from Cornell University in Human Development and her Ph.D. at Rutgers University. She also completed a two-year post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) studying the development of and treatment for pediatric anxiety disorders. Carolyn lives in New York City with her husband Josh and their adorable son and puppy.<\/p><p>Carolyn became involved with Griffin Cares following the loss of her firstborn son, Eli, when he was born prematurely and died shortly after birth. As Co-Director of Support Programs, Carolyn personally onboards newly bereaved families and connects them with the Griffin Cares community.
