John Freitag

Treasurer

John Freitag

John Freitag is a proud lifelong Bergen County, NJ resident. He first came to discover Griffin Cares when his wife Allyson and himself sadly lost their first daughter Sophia in 2018. The information, guidance and community provided by Griffin Cares was instrumental in the recovery for John and his wife. Griffin Cares and its mission inspired John along with his wife to fundraise for infant loss/ awareness and become more involved in the organization. He is truly grateful for the opportunity to join the Board of Directors and serve as Treasurer, helping others just as Griffin Cares helped him and his family in their time of need.

John currently works in commercial and residential real estate sales and development. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. In his free time John enjoys gardening, neighborhood walks, dining out and traveling with his wife Allyson, daughters Giuliana and Isabella, and faithful pup, Bosco.
