Griffin Cares Foundation’s annual community gathering provided a special opportunity for the entire Griffin Cares Community to join together virtually with family, friends, GCF partners, and volunteers to honor our babies during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Parent reflections were shared by Ashley Fylstra in honor of her daughter, Riley, and Annalie Mathai in honor of her son, Thor. Keynote speaker Melo Garcia of @afterchloe discussed the intersection of grief, love, and remembrance. As part of Griffin Cares’ new Sibling Support initiative, loss siblings were invited to create and light their own special candles along with their parents and other supporters during our Candle Lighting Ceremony. Griffin Cares Foundation’s Remembrance Day Virtual Gathering is a free community program made possible through the generosity of our donors.
